The United States African Development Foundation (USADF), in collaboration with the United States Department of State Africa Bureau, is inviting applications for the 2024 African Women Entrepreneurs Program – Reimagined grant. This marks the second edition of this grant which is exclusively open to applicants from the following countries: Namibia, Mauritania, Senegal, Cote d’Ivoire, Malawi, Uganda, and Zambia.
The United States African Development Foundation (USADF) is an independent United States Government organization instituted by the United States Congress. It’s object is to assist and invest in African-owned and African-led firms with the improvement of lives and livelihoods of people in underserved communities in Africa.
Grant Eligibility
To be considered for this grant, the organization must be woman-owned, 100% African-owned entity. Your organization must also be legally registered in the country from which you are applying. The entity should have have a bank statement with a history of no less than 12 months in addition to basic functional management and financial controls for a minimum of three years.
Other criteria include;
- The business should be located and operate in a designated USADF program country
- Be in possession of a successful UEI approval
Put together a proposal for the use of grant money - Entity owners should not be government employees
The organization must not be a for-profit entity
Award: USD$50,000 – USD$100,000 for each selected winner
