The JASIRI Growth Accelerator aims to bridge the financing gap for businesses like these that solve gnawing issues, birth market-loving innovations, and require unique funding solutions.

Program Overview

The program is structured into three months of virtual engagement that will follow a well-curated framework of activities that will help founders fast-track the growth of their businesses. The objective is to turn them into investment-worthy companies.

Businesses that match the program’s criteria present their ideas to a select group of JASIRI investment partners. JASIRI will invest US$75 000 in successful firms, with the possibility of additional funding from JASIRI co-investors.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Startups are expected to have large market potential
  • Be legally registered in Kenya or Rwanda and equally tax compliant.
  • Have a market-creating Innovation – the potential to address non-consumption i.e. trying to solve difficult problems and providing goods or services that were previously not accessible or affordable to a large number of people
  • Show evidence of traction through an existing user base
  • Revenue generating
  • Interested startups should show evidence of consistent growth in revenue or user acquisition.
