The Sankalp Awards, powered by the Intellecap – AAVISHKAAR Group are a global display of creative and successful businesses, as well as a celebration of great social entrepreneurs. The Sankalp Global Awards, 2022 Edition, is searching for social entrepreneurs who are #TransformingImpact, impacting society positively, gaining hands-on experience while at it, and collaborating with a global community to create creative solutions.
The award is part of the events marking the 14th SANKALP Global summit – an event that is expected to attract over 3000 delegates from over 100 countries. In addition to the awards, the summit will also feature interactive fireside chats, virtual workshops and masterclasses, and enterprise-level fundraising support.
One of the winners of the 2017 edition, Sokowatch Kenya raised $14 million in Series A funding. The company run by founder, Daniel Yu, is a B2B e-commerce startup connecting merchants to local and international suppliers.

SANKALP AWARDS ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
The application process will commence with the submission of an online application which will be screened by an investor committee. Successful applications will then be forwarded to the grand jury at the end of which participants who make it this far, will have an opportunity to exhibit.
Successful applicants are expected to meet the criteria listed below.
- In any of the six impact categories, run a high-impact business that addresses the needs of rural, low-income, or disadvantaged communities.
- Successful participants will possess a clear for-profit business strategy that can be scaled.
- Have a skilled team dedicated to promotions.
- Have some revenue-generating proof of concept.
- Enterprises are expected to be in need of investments in the $100K to $1M USD range.
